The fishery was established back in 1987 by owner Vince Lloyd and his lovely wife. Since then it has grown from strength to strength; once starting as a peat bog and presently having 5 coarse fishing lakes consisting of The Specimen Lake, The Big Pit Lake, The Pleasure Lake, The New Match Lake, and The Canal. The five fantastic lakes are all set in 37 acres of Welsh countryside in Pontarddulais, Wales and is known as home to the welsh 30's.
Our whole venue and most of our swims are constructed with the intention of making them accessible to all. Swims are purpose built with easy access for disabled anglers and ample parking lake side for our customers. This picture was taken in winter time
Apart from the three high quality Scandinavian Log Cabins we also have a two bedroom static caravan over looking 37 acres of spectacular scenery. Onsite you will find we can offer you excellent accommodation in one of our exclusive, attractively laid out self catering apartment which will supply superb self catering luxury accommodation for the whole family.
If something simpler takes your fancy we also have Lakeside Fishing Cabins (all with electric, lights and some with fridge and microwaves (picture above right) ).
If you'd prefer to bring your own accommodation we have hard standing caravan pitches lake side with electric hookup to rent and plenty of space for bivvys and tents.
With fantastic scenery and easy access from the M4 motorway, central to the city of Swansea, which all make White Springs Fishery a great place to come and spend time with the whole family.
The great position of White Springs makes it a fantastic place from which to base many sight seeing trips to the Gower, Brecon Beacons or maybe just for some retail therapy in some of the amazing array of outlets within Swansea City.

Nestling among the Welsh Valleys and overlooked by Cefn Drum Mountain, an SSSI site of outstanding natural beauty is available for all guests and visitors.
White Springs is home to an array of wildlife including Buzzards and many Red Kites we believe we have something for everybody, whether you're in to specimen carp, match fishing or just wetting a line to relax. Maybe you just want a holiday with some peace, tranquillity and beauty surrounding you.
On site we have a fully equipped tackle shop with top brands for match, casual and specimen fishing.

The tackle shop stocks everything from terminal tackle and bait to equipment.
We also stock everything that a beginner would require to take their first cast in to fishing to tackle for the professional.
